Trials and tribulations of the twilight years.
I have been taking a semi - break from a lot of political comment sections recently, for many reasons, but caring for aging parents is one of them. So I can certainly relate. Godspeed to your father and family, and thanks for sharing your experience and giving us a peek into your life. Your father comes across as a very good man.
You and your father are in our prayers Mr. Daly. God bless.
It's good you are spending more time with him albeit under unfortunate circumstances.
At least he has his faculties. Early onset dementia robbed me of any meaningful interaction for the last 5 years of my fathers life. Once they're gone, they're gone as they say, and you you never know when or how for the most part. Best wishes to you and the family in your Dad's twilight hours.
Glad your father is better and such a good thing for them to be close.
