My wife and I were on vacation in the Big Bend of Texas 37 years ago and we were hired to be extras for a TV commercial in an old west town. The commercial depicted me as a banker in a hurry. It was touting some new form of communication that became known as cell phones! The promoter was Clayton Williams who later ran for Governor of Texas, and lost. $50 plus lunch!
What a cool vacation story! Plus you got to meet Bernie in person, unforgettable!
Glad you posted it here because I completely missed it on Twitter.
It was way fun, from beginning to end.
Enjoyed the videos.
I worked with swine and swine feces in a project for my PhD (extracting bacterial DNA from pig shit--nobody visited me in my laboratory).
I'm surprised the pigs could move as well in the water, given the small surface area of their hooves.
the pigs taking to the waves reminded me that most animals will do amazing things if they know they'll get a treat.
Oh yeah, they were definitely food motivated. lol. So fun to watch.
